Overview Chestnut Health Systems is seeking a full-time Data Systems Analyst for our Bloomington, IL facility. Chestnut Health Systems is a leading provider of behavioral and primary health care services. Over four decades, Chestnut has grown to over 700 committed, compassionate employees providing substance use, mental health and primary care treatment to patients in Central and Southern Illinois. We provide fully integrated care for all of our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Responsibilities Report creation and generation general level: Create reports as needed in order to improve the effectiveness of corporate data EMR systems and workflows. Perform data analysis and troubleshooting against potential data inconsistencies and report or resolve them as needed. Work with Data Team members to provide tools for data monitoring and correction. Become proficient using Microsoft SSRS and maintain knowledge of that product. Assist on systems development projects as assigned by the Data Systems Supervisor and/or Data Systems Manager. Such projects may involve any corporate data systems managed by the Data Team. General proficiency with MS SQL Server, SSRS, TIER, eCW, and/or other tools will be required as defined by the Data Systems Supervisor and/or Data Systems Manager. Attain proficiency and perform administration tasks on Chestnut data systems as assigned by the Data Systems Supervisor and/or Data Systems Manager, including but not limited to: Building and maintaining EMR forms and code, reports, and/or other user interfaces. System troubleshooting and account management. Apply patches as needed and post changes to the Intranet. Effectively communicate system changes to Chestnuts user community. Assist with general user training as appropriate. Establish and maintain good working relationships with relevant internal and external customers and collaborators, while providing timely, effective support for such individuals and organizations. Promote Chestnuts culture of customer service excellence through the adherence to Chestnuts behavioral standards for customer service. Maintain and protect confidentiality of all organizational information gained in the course of employment including, but not limited to, financial and client information. Qualifications Position requires a Bachelors degree in an IS related field, or an Associates degree in an IS related field plus two (2) years of experience in database administration and/or programming; or a minimum of two (2) years of programming experience in an electronic medical records system. General database and report writing skills, with a strong aptitude for data analysis required, with experience in Microsoft SQL Server preferred. Solid analytical problem solving skills and flexibility to overcome obstacles required. Good communication skills and excellent organizational skills are required.
