What You Will Be Doing: As a Penske QA Manual Tester your primary focus will be on test execution and formulation of testing plans. Working with a diverse team of Software Engineers, QA Managers, and product owners you will create and maintain test plans, ensuring the highest level of quality in our new development features. On a team and independently you will support break/fix code releases being released into production. Taking direction from senior Quality Assurance team members you will begin to assist in defect analysis in order to understand issues and root causes. You will be learning from a team of experts, which will prepare you for growth opportunities within our team. This position can sit out of our corporate headquarters in Reading, PA or our IT Center in Tampa, FL. Penske Responsibilities: Facilitate functional and UI testing for all new features for desktop application and browser testing environments, including testing code of intermediate complexity Develop and execute complex test plans consistent with Agile sprint development plans Develop intermediate level Test Cases to support Agile sprints and perform intermediate level analysis of test case results Execute test using primary testing environments such as Sauce Labs, Browser Stack, etc. Create complex sets of test data Coordinate test execution with development staff and other Agile team members Validate program logic and verify system flow Identify and communicate basic quality risks and plans for remediation Maintain documentation of test scripts, processes and procedures Consults with Senior Software Engineers in resolution of problems Ensure software quality assurance follow standard operating procedure Penske Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field 2-3 years of Application Testing experience 2 years experience, writing and executing test cases for desktop web based applications Knowledge and understanding with SQL statements 3 tier architecture Agile methodologies Web services and api's JIRA Confluence Deployment methodologies Proficient with QA testing environments such as Sauce Labs, Browser Stack, etc. Familiar with Selenium and Zephyr testing tools Understanding of Information Technology Concepts Understanding of testing concepts and procedures Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration tools Understanding of Agile testing methodologies required Ability to create test cases and execute efficiently and effectively Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
