The Automotive Vehicles Platform team is searching for engineers to develop and bring NVIDIA's autonomous vehicle platform out to the world. You will participate in a focused effort to develop and productize ground-breaking solutions that will revolutionize the world of transportation and the growing field of self-driving cars. You will work with hardworking and dedicated multi-functional engineering development teams across various vehicle subsystems to integrate their work into our autonomous driving DRIVE SW platform, while achieving or exceeding all relevant NVIDIA and automotive standards & guidelines. What you'll be doing: - Automating and optimizing build, test, integrate, and release processes - Configuring, maintaining, and building upon deployments of industry-standard tools (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Docker, CMake, Jira) - Developing shared utilities for setting up systems, running tests, and recording results - Contributing to best-practices for building, testing, and releasing software - Identifying infrastructure needs and translating them into action - Improving existing workflows and automation processes over time What we need to see: - BS or higher degree in computer science with 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent experience - Proven experience setting up, maintaining, and automating continuous integration systems - Fluency in SCM (e.g. Perforce, Git) and build systems (e.g. make, cmake, bazel) - Adept programming skills in Python (or similar) - A pragmatic approach to solving problems and collaboration - Passion for it just works automation and enabling team members Ways to stand out from the crowd: - Experience with mobile/embedded platforms and multiple operating systems (Linux, QNX, and Android) - Track record of identifying useful new technologies and incorporating them into SW development flows - Experience as an active contributor to a SW project involving many developers - Excellent communication, presentation, social, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
