DESCRIPTION:We are an American hydropower manufacturing with over 135 years in the industry. We are one of the world's largest dedicated hydropower turbine equipment manufacturing facilities, and the only one in the United States to feature a hydraulic laboratory. We are a full-line supplier of hydropower equipment and services, from project planning and execution, manufacturing, electrical and mechanical engineering, outage management, modernization, and aftermarket business and services.We are looking for a Tier 2 Desktop-Onsite support technician to sit in Appleton, WI.These will be long term positions on a six-month renewable contract. These technicians will join the team and assist in supporting 600 end users in York, Pa and 400 in Appleton, Wi.This role functions as an Onsite IT Support Technician. It requires solid communication skills, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently without sacrificing the quality of work. The ideal candidate must be prompt, communicative, even-tempered, comfortable working independently, and have the ability to effectively manage their time and prioritize issues.Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Diagnoses problems and fully supports (installs, troubleshoots, configures and repairs) a variety of internal and third-party applications and hardware for client workstations in both the office and manufacturing environments( new PC builds from time to time) Assists with the new system set up throughout the campus as required (Lenovo and HP) Addresses and resolves hardware, software, and customer issues Performs preventive maintenance; tests and repairs equipment Responsible for imaging and software installs on end-user devices Identifies network issues as it relates to the end-user device Occasionally assists in testing applications, service packs, and patches prior to corporate-wide release (SCCM) Provides positive customer experience with each customer interactionSKILLS:windows 10, ms office suite, troubleshooting, customer service, technical support, Desktop Troubleshooting, Imaging Software, Sccm, Microsoft Office Suite, Level 2 Support, vpnTOP SKILLS DETAILS:windows 10,ms office suite, troubleshooting, customer service, technical supportADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:Additional Skills:- Tremendous customer service ability- Team oriented and takes direction well- Strong troubleshooting skills- printer support experience- O365 support experienceEXPERIENCE LEVEL:Junior Level ABOUT TEKSYSTEMS: We're partners in transformation.
