The Financial Software Developers primary function is to design and develop tools and applications to support our company's financial operations.Financial Software Developers work closely with our financial leadership team to ensure the success of new automations, applications, and queries.Software Developers work with new technology through all phases of the software development life cycle to produce and enhance scalable and robust software applications.Salary will be based on experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelop Tools/Applications to Support Financial Systems and other Business OperationsTranslate Application Requirements into Robust Well-Designed Technical SolutionUse Rapid Applications Development Techniques Employing Object-Oriented Design and Development to Produce SolutionsDebug Software and Fix Defects Uncovered During Testing ProcessSupport existing applications and work with the business to plan future projectsContribute to and maintain a library of supportable tools and functions to deliver specific information when requestedProduction and Operations SupportAdditional Duties, as assignedRequirementsFinancial Acumen: Comfortable working with financial data and understanding Accounting terminology (A MUST) Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology3-4 Years Work Experience in Development RoleExperience in Event-Driven Programing and Multi-Tiered Client/Server ArchitecturesStrong Understanding of T-SQL and function/stored procedure developmentWorking Knowledge of VBA, VBScript, Microsoft SQL Server, and/or other scripting languagesSelf-Motivated: Ability to Work with Minimal SupervisionStrong Customer Service FocusClear Verbal and Written Communication SkillsAbility to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet DeadlinesCapability to Work both Independently and as part of a TeamProblem-Solving Mindset with Ability to Multitask#ZR
