FTI is looking for a full-time Network Engineer to support the Department of Defense and other government agencies. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of a high-profile DoD program with Congressional mandates for the national security of DoD cyber programs. Our ideal candidate will have vast experience in building and maintaining classified networks having served as a network engineer. Proven technical capabilities within the classified network environment, as well as experience in building from the ground-up a classified network of systems.

Design and build classified networks for DoD contractor systems
Establish new networks from design, source, build, accredit, maintain, and upgrade of unclassified and classified networks
Experience with concepts, best practices, related Networking concepts related to networking hardware/software to include LAN, WAN and Wireless technologies/architectures and procedures within network engineering/technical disciplines
Experience with planning and engineering of network architecture/infrastructure
Experience with network STIGs and familiar with DoD hardening network equipment
Experience with network security best practices and implementation
Experience in DoD Cybersecurity, including Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) testing and remediation, policy implementation, and authorization process
Experience with boundary defense appliances such as Next Generation Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and others
Experience with Cisco network device configuration and administration
Experience interfacing with and/or configuration and maintaining a Cross Domain Solution (CDS)
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a classified network engineering related field
A minimum Active DOD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
IAT-III Certification (CISSP, CASP+, or equivalent)
Cisco computing environment certification (CCNP Enterprise/Data Center or higher preferred)
